My Nephew is a Toddler and other tales

So, as of last week, my nephew is officially walking.

So, I...

* made it back from Wincon (still miss everyone)
* brought con crud home with me and missed a couple of days of work (why is there no tea fairy??)
* worked Thursday
* And watched my niece and nephew for the weekend.

I wasn't supposed to be doing that alone, but my poor hubby had to work. (Growl)

It turns out that Bird is very into Candyland, Scooby Doo, plastic animals, and being silly. We even had a discussion re: who was the silliest in which the following conversation occurred:

Her: I'm the silliest
Me: I get sillier things that you free with my breakfast cereal.
Her: Like what?
Me: ...

I love that kid. She totally got me!

And now I totally miss them. Sigh. But at least I'm home where my cats love to stomp all over me.
