When did you know what you wanted to do? How did you get through the time when one of you wasn't working? Do you think we ever feel settled?

1. When did I know what I wanted to do?
Well...I hate to tell you this, but I'm still not all that sure I know what I want to be when I grow up. I became a librarian because I was fairly sure I'd be good at it, and I could probably get a decent job.

2. How did you get through the time when one of you wasn't working?
Ugh. Well...one day at a time is the best I can say. I offered to let Chris be a house husband, but he was not interested. I think I would make a great housewife, though. It helped that we love each to distraction, but some days were terrible, while others were just fine.

3. Do you think we ever feel settled?
Ye Gods, I hope so. Maybe I will when I finally have a house of my own...when i'm 92 at this rate...You see, I hate feeling unsettled, but I always seem to feel that way. Did that make sense?
