So...hi.

Anyone want to write me some Eve Moneypenny/Martha Jones fic? Just figured I'd check. *hopeful smile*

Anyway, I haven't written much over here lately. I'm not even sure that I follow everyone that I wanted to, so I'm going to tidy that up. But in the meantime, stand by for a bunch of talk about music.

Specifically, music for podficcers. (Well...and awesome music in general.)

Speaking of Doctor Who verse. I am on the fence about watching Torchwood. I saw the first episode but didn't get further. Similarly, I'm debating whether to just finish S3 of Doctor Who for Martha or going back to S1 and 2 since I hear so much about Rose. Help?

Anyways, I've only seen a handful of episodes with Martha Jones. Mostly the later episodes of S3.

Martha Jones is introduced to Eve as a doctor. Eve says charmed and gives her a habitual glanceover. She's already catalogued the entrances and exits of the room, the clearest path, the structures she can hide behind -- how to fire a shot, gain cover behind the couch, and exit the door. It's habit, really.

Seeing Martha is unarmed, Eve meets her eyes with a ready smile. Martha's eyes are not full of good humor like the rest of the party, not even the spark of recognition of attraction. No, there's something hard in those eyes, and Eve knows she's been caught.

"A doctor, really?"

"Yes," Martha replies.

Liar, she thinks, because Martha is no more a doctor, than Eve is a secretary.
