The Apartment Complex Soap Opera

So...remember my new neighbors?
(The frat boys not the shouting couple)
Well...the other day when I left there were a couple of cop cars outside.
I didn't think too much about it as I left for work.
Then, I talked to Chris on the phone later in the day.
Apparently there were *more* police cars.
Then, the cops started going up and down the stairs.
Tonight, I finally managed to ask my downstairs neighbor what had happened.
(Linda knows everything. Her sheltie is always barking so she is forever coming outside to tell him to be quiet...you get the idea)
It turns out that the guys had all moved out except for one. The last one had been planning on moving away.
He had come downstairs a couple of times to try and sell the food he had left to Linda's husband.
Finally...he was caught breaking into several of the cars in the parking lot.
So, he's moved away...into the jail.
And now...all is quiet on that side of the apartment again.
Ahhhh...no more people pounding on doors.
