Stuff...

So, [livejournal.com profile] koshvader and I had 2 tix to the Heart of the Forest faire in Novato, so we went today.
It has a really nice location. The background sorta looks like a matte painting, actually.
I saw some folks I haven't seen in 10 years. I even saw Karsten for a few seconds.
I bought the next thing on my list of neat things I've wanted since I worked faire the first time (a black bone moon necklace).
My sweetie and I shared a tasty thing from the chocolate booth, watched some irish dancing, and wandered up and down the faire.
I find that I miss it.
I sorta want to go back.

Once we left, we drove around and ended up in Pacifica at the Starbucks that is a couple of stores away from Sam's Deli (home of the extremely crack-like Firehouse Sandwich).

Overall a good day, and I now have a necklace that I'm not allergic to.

sort of a side note, Karsten has a blog here on LJ.

Glad you had a good time...

You know, St. Calums is really undermanned... You could easily go do Scots. I assume Karsten told you that, though, since he's their guildmaster. Innyard really needs people too... Heh. C'mon, I got sucked back into faire, you can be too! There are plenty of places for you there.

You know, I hate to say it, but it's the memory that you're in love with. I won't be as cool now if you go back and do it as it was when you were in college. You've changed, faire has changed...

Sorry, don't mean to kill your high.

Didn't mean any offense.
