I've been really wondering about taste perceptions lately, so I've made this little poll.

[Poll #1159175]

Thanks for participating!

I've tried it a few times and use it when there's nothing else available. Personally I like using Stevia because 1. Splenda is just as harmful to diabetics as regula sugar as it is MADE from sugar. 2. Stevia is a fiber based organic sweetner that is actually good for you and won't give you cancer ;)

My family has such a bad history of severe reactions to artificial sweeteners that I have avoided it. It could range from an annoying headache to "Oh GOD, please kill me now." I just use the real stuff, thanks.

The worst is when they change without warning or reason. Carnation instant hot chocolate ... I had been using it for years to make coffee at the work place tolerable. Suddenly I was getting headaches at work ... I happen to read the label, and sure enough, artificial sweetener ... in the non-sugar-free stuff ... it is SUPPOSED to have sugar, yet the put the fake stuff in there. :-(

Being the daughter of a baker, I was raised with a very strong anti-substitute attitude. So I've never really ahd anything with artificial substitue stuff in it. Gotta go with the real stuff (especially when baking).

Its not a taste issue with me but rather that Splenda makes me feel reallly sick.

Wow, thanks!

*looks at calendar* Uhm, the 24th? That's the soonest and probably the onliest in this last month of school before Summer session starts and the trip to Mexico and and and and.....what's the name of the store? If it is a Daiso, I've been to the one in Union City and their Bento boxes are more geared to kids.

But this would be great! Can I bring along [profile] ladynanook if she'd like to go?

Sucralose blah... blah... ::Vomit::
umm... no thank you to chlorine sugar bond it makes for the giving back of food when accidentally ingested. won't ever eat it on purpose anymore.
I prefer honey, stevia(from tea store or home grown.) and agave nectar. If not of those are available cane or even beet sugar please.... or maybe no sugar added at all?

Yuck to HFC(High Fructose corn sweetener) & all the other "Fake sugar" which was obviously created by the devil... created by Beelzebub the cabbage demon to tempt the good with sickly sweet poisons!
