I'm a Hedonist...

Ok, first I have to say Happy Birthday hauntedaislinn!!!

Now...I must tell y'all that I just had the best meal of my life...and I've had a few good meals. (Heck, I used to live with Kel, but anyway)
I am officially out of superlatives.
And the best part? It was free!
Yep. You heard me. Free.
You may recall that I posted last evening about our dining snafu and the subsequent nummyness at the resident steak house?
Well, we went back to the Napa Rose tonight, and Mr. Waters stopped by our table to say that he was glad to see us, and that we were to take our time and enjoy ourselves as it was all taken care of.
Actually, everyone there seemed to know about yesterday (a bit embarrassing really). The lady who seated us wanted to know how we liked Granville's.
No fewer than five people greeted us on the way to our table by the window.
