Today i got up a 6am (after working 12-9 yesterday) to take my strangely rattling car to the Subaru dealership in Fairfield. I made the appointment for 7am 2 days ago. I arrived there only to be told by them that my car has too many miles on it. They don't work on cars with over 120,000 miles on them. They *could* have mentioned this when I called. But, no. Instead they tried to direct me to a place around the corner.
...
So, I'm annoyed now.

Then at work, I was asked to translate a letter from French to English.
With the Lady's help, I am able to finally figure out the handwriting...
Only to tell her that it says her friend has died ( the wife of the letter writer).

So, now I'm home sitting in bed typing this.
All I can say is...tomorrow *has* to be better.
At least I know that I'm having dinner with friends.

(sigh)
- Oh, did I mention that we had to call 911 at work today...*again*? One of our Patrons fainted.
Heart Attacks, Seizures, Overdoses, car theft, now fainting.
I hope that she's ok.

What?

What the fuck? I have never heard of anything so fucking stupid sounding. Well, actually, I have...

"Your computer is too old. You need to upgrade to XP for us to support it."

So I have heard of it, but it is still fucking stupid.

As to having a bad day, Linds and I are right on board with you. Her doc is rather stingy with the pain meds, and she won't tell me something is wrong (because she's used to her family taking advantage of every situation, so she overcompensates the other way), so I wake up to find her crying in pain. They expect her to get up and walk and get back on her feet. Walking is supposed to help with the pain. But she can't walk when shes in so much pain she's crying. Needless to say, the surgeon and I are going to have a little talk on monday.

I've also spoken with a resume writing service at Monster. I'll tell you more about that in person, but the short of it is that it left me a bit pissed off. As part of the package they offered to put keywords specific to my career in the resume--Monster specific search keywords. All this for the price of $240 or so.

Ponder on that for a bit and you'll begin to see why I'm steamed.
