ok...the real update

themusecalliopeWell, I had fun on my trip to Disneyland for my birthday.
Disney's Grand Californian is Awesome!
We were on the sixth floor, and our view was Paradise pier in DCA (and the hotel pools).
We ate at a bunch of different places, had fun hanging out with friends (hi Scott, Deb, Erik, and Gerry!).

koshvader took me to for my birthday. The Napa Rose is just superb.
So, if anyone knows where I can get a bottle of Camelot 2002 Pinot Noir (very tasty for such a young wine) please let me know.
After leaving Mickey Mecca on Tuesday, we went out to Redondo Beach and wandered around the place thatkoshvader is from and hasn't seen since he was seven.
(perhaps he will post about this later)
Anyway, we wound up getting home at about 3am on wednesday. The cats were happy to see us.
Quick memories:
riding the Jungle Cruise at night is really fun.
if you want a Pirates of the Carribean boat just for 2 (and to have empty boats in front and behind you) show up 20 minutes before the park closes.
It is possible to have a meal so good that it gives you an altered state of consciousness.
Craftsman style is just cool.
Terror tower=freaky.
Having breakfast on your balcony is just cool.
