themusecalliopeWell, I just attempted to knit a baby bootie. This is my first attempt at something not rectangular (i.e. Scarf, afghan square, lap robe).
I did my test bootie on larger needles than the next attempt will employ in order to see what I'm doing.
Good thing, too, as I haven't attempted to purl for about 2 years...I think I know how to "knit together"...and I'm pretty sure I invented a klugdy way to add or 'increase' a stitch.
But...It looks like a bootie (mostly).
Did i mention I've never followed a pattern before?
Now...where is my yarn needle?
Ah well. Back to writing.
After I find my arm braces.
