Well, I just attempted to knit a baby bootie. This is my first attempt at something not rectangular (i.e. Scarf, afghan square, lap robe).
I did my test bootie on larger needles than the next attempt will employ in order to see what I'm doing.
Good thing, too, as I haven't attempted to purl for about 2 years...I think I know how to "knit together"...and I'm pretty sure I invented a klugdy way to add or 'increase' a stitch.
But...It looks like a bootie (mostly).
Did i mention I've never followed a pattern before?
Now...where is my yarn needle?

Ah well. Back to writing.
After I find my arm braces.

Cool! Now you should come to some of the Stitch 'n B!tches I have at my house (and it is not like you don't know how to get there). We usually have at least one advanced knitter there who is great at helping us less-practiced knitters through those tough spots.
