Review: Anything Goes

Ok. I went to see the local high school production of "Anything Goes" tonight, and I had all kinds of fun.
The set was rock solid (way to go Mr. Deans!), which is important if you are dancing on it. (this is quite different from the sets we had at my high school, but anyway).
There were many great singers and dancers in this show. Real tap dancers! Jeremy (who played Billy) is all singing and all dancing. He has a great future ahead of him.
Jori's Reno also deserves applause. The only thing that I will give my thumbs down to, is the somewhat problematic sound system. I expect that there was interference.
frenia did a great job as the reporter, and the fella who played Moonface has quite a comic turn to him.
So, lets just say it was much better than one would expect when one thinks "High School Production". It's at least at community theater level.
There's another show tomorrow night. See it if you can.
Oh, and why is this review here rather that over at Themusereviews?
I admit it. I was too lazy to log out and then in again before I leave for dinner.
I will hang my head in shame later.
P.S. They did Heaven Hop. (not as Helen Kane, but still...I love that song. I blame Sophie.)
