Of Massages and Stairs

Hello all.

Once again, I remind you that I am still alive. Mind you, this time I have cause to mention the alive-ness thing.

So, last Sunday I decided to be nice to my body (for once) and get myself a massage. Afterwards, I felt better (if a wee bit more congested...always happens after a massage for some reason.) I went food shopping and I got some yummy good-for-me things (as I felt like continuing the good to my body thing.) All in all a lovely day.

And then, at 2am (Monday Morning?), I was walking down the carpeted stairs with socks on my feet. On the last step, I slipped and *wham.* I did not fall gracefully. I slammed my newly massaged back and neck into the bottom 3 stairs and the rest of me ended up on the floor in the entryway.

Sitting on the last of the catnip from an earlier happy cat moment. (to add insult to injury)

*sigh*

Now I am moving around like a little old woman. And all of the massage-y goodness is gone. :(

(I did go to work every day this week, by the way. I have more of my Grandfather's genetics than I had previously suspected, I'm thinking.)

Today I received a pick-me-up gift from a mysterious benefactor. Apparently, someone out there knows that I like Silent film. (Gasp!) Thank you, whoever you are. I am in a much better mood now. This only goes to show you that I am *such* a girl sometimes. Oh, agony my back! The Pain! Hey, cool shirt! Shiny! *is in a better mood*

Aww, that sucks. Hurting your back makes life difficult, you never know how much you depend on it until it happens. Hope you feel better! And most of us girls, are well, girls involving shiny stuff! Lol.
