So far 2 people have recognized my hair style.
I have also gotten one" My Little Pony" comment and one "Two Tone" comment.
Plus the ever popular Jerk patron who is always a pain in the butt with his "go to your room" comment.
I swear, the next time he even make one of his obnoxious comments I'll say: "(foil hat name) I am 31 years old and I do not appreciate those kinds of comments." Heavens, I must look at least 25 by now. (grrrr)

Not to mention the foil hat who likes to tell you about real estate prices in other states, and will *not* leave.

(sigh)

At least I got to shop today. New boombox, new igloo cooler, and Better off Dead on DVD.
Shopping therapy is your friend.

Yes, shopping therapy is your friend. It's good for the soul! You should partake in as much shopping therapy as possible...

Now, might I interest you in $2000 worth of Legos?

hehehe

Awww! You make shopping therapy sound good! "I sorry your mom blew up ricky....." Wait the VHS tape is no good no more?? Pout!

So tell mr. Tin Foil Hat man "Pardon me sir but your social skills are deplorable. So I would appreciate it if you would stop offending my ears and psyche with your irritating, condescending, cacophony of useless blather. You may have thought that you were being witty, you were not nor have you ever in my presence been appreciated. Begone foul creature begone. You are only wading in the gene pool and I wish you would just get out! Why don't you go have a nice talk with a fire hydrant at least those are used to getting pissed on!"

Yeah!

On the subject of looking our ages, I'm now 35 & teaching math at a high school. A couple of weeks ago, I went to a student film festival with another teacher & a few students. At the check-in desk, the woman at the table honestly mistook me for one of the kids & asked us for our advisor. It was odd. The woman probably wasn't any older than me. Last week, I went to a restaurant with a couple of former students & the waitress kept calling all 3 of us kids. At school, the students almost always guess that I'm 23. It's strange, but I can live with it!
