Well, I would too, but it does not apply to me. First of all, the prices do not apply to existing customers (if I wanted to get a box with more memory it would cost more) because they commit you to a length of service. Secondly, I prefer DirectTV DVR, the DirectTV satellite & TiVo mix, and they do not have a Series2 version of that yet (which would allow me to schedule to record shows from work through the internet!). I say again, pout!
(Probably for the better since I do not need to spend the money anyway.)
Doesn't look quite up to scratch. There's a rebate, and a service activation thing...
Sorry, all those year of dealing with Fry's Electronics. There is one word I fear--rebate.
But I feel your pain. Why is it that cool shit has to come along when we're broke. Linds and I found the first season of Batman Animated on DVD--hell, everything cool is coming out as a season boxed set. Oh, ye Gods! Why do you mock me!
On a side note, get koshvader to check out the freevo and other linux PVR sites. You can hook up basically the same sort of thing from a linux box for next to nothing. It's on the list of things I want to do.
